Caledon Village is at the crossroads of Hwy 10 & 124Caledon Village is found at the crossroads of Highway 10 (Hurontario) and Highway 124 (old Hwy 24 - Charleston Sideroad).  It is about 10-15 minutes north of Brampton and 10 minutes south of Orangeville.

From a real estate perspective, Caledon Village offers huge value - especially to families, as it features spacious homes with oversized yards, quiet side streets with playgrounds, neighbourhood schools and a town operated swimming pool!  Except for a few original homes at the very core of the village, housing starts in the $425,000 range.  Now that Highway 10 is finally being twinned through the village, commuting from Caledon Village will undoubtedly become quicker and easier.

Caledon Village's main arteries are lined with small, independent businesses.  As many Many buildings have been repurposed over the yearsentrepreneurs operate from converted residential houses, the Village's bustling nature is not evident at first glance. Outback & Company (women's clothing) is an excellent example of how Caledon repurposes buildings along its many roadways.

Children in Caledon Village and neighbouring areas go to school at Caledon Central from Kindergarten to Grade 8 and to Mayfield for high school.  Elementary level French Immersion is offered at Herb Campbell with high school French Immersion being offered at Humberview Secondary School in Bolton.

Those who prefer their children use the Catholic School system will find junior kindergarten to grade 8 at St. Cornelius and high school at Robert F. Hall.  Both Catholic schools are located in Caledon East.
